Home Health Speech Pathologist (PRN)
Interim HealthCare, one of the nation's leading providers of home care, is now seeking a Speech Pathologist-PRN to join the team ! Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the Speech-Language and/or Swallowing therapy plan of care for home health patientsAssist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Speech-Language and/or Swallowing Therapy servicesCommunicate progress and any barriers toward ST goals with interdisciplinary team membersComplete timely ST documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirementsAssist with maintaining treatment and documentation areas in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methodsProvide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each ST patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow upPerform additional duties as requiredQualifications include:
Master's degree from an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology programHold an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHACurrent Texas license in good standing as a Speech-Language PathologistMeet physical requirements to deliver ST responsibilitiesExperience in home health setting is preferredSuccessful completion of hiring process / background checkPandoLogicCategory:
